Installing Math Traveler on Windows 2000 in Windows 95 compatibility mode:

1. Log on (locally) as Administrator.

2. Click Start, and then click Run.

3. In the Open box, type the following command: regsvr32%systemroot%\apppatch\slayerui.dll and click OK. (%SystemRoot% is the drive and folder in which Windows is installed. There is a space between 32 and the first %.)

4. You should get a message stating it was successful.

After enabling compatibility, the installation file for the program must have a shortcut made to it that has compatibility set to Windows 95.

1. Open the CD-ROM in My Computer
2. Right-click on the setup.exe file, and left click Create Shortcut. The shortcut should be created on the desktop.
3. Right-click on the shortcut icon.
4. Left-click on Properties.
5. Click Compatibility.
6. Choose Windows 95.
7. Click Apply and OK.
8. Now click on the shortcut that you made to the setup.exe file and it should install without giving the error message.
