ISSUE: The Spelling and Grammar Practice Books aren’t the same printing that my students are using.

SOLUTION: The .pdf files for the Spelling and Grammar Practice Books are printing A, the correct files should be printing B.  They are available for download from the Updates section at www.epgtech.com.

NOTE: Teachers will need to access these practice books outside of Instructional Navigator.

ISSUE: My lesson plan starts with Unit 1, which we’ve already covered.  How do I make it start with the unit we’re on now?

Solution: If your calendar start date is set for Jan. XX, 2007, you can’t move back any further than 30 days, which still won’t set your calendar to the unit you are currently working on.  The workaround is:

1.       Delete the MMH Lesson Planner from the hard drive and reinstall.  (See below if you don’t want to uninstall.)

2.       Create a new lesson plan using the start date of the first day of the entire school year (probably August something).

3.       When the calendar auto-populates, for January should be close to the unit you’re working on.  If not, it should be within 30 days.  So, if you need to move days forward or backwards in the calendar you will be able to.

4.       If you don’t want to delete and reinstall, you can input a different user name and create a lesson plan under that name.

5.       For more info about moving days (and Shifting) see pages 11-12 in User Guide.
