Windows:

Issue: When entering more than 200 students, I get the message "A maximum of 400 students can appear in the list"

Solution: There is an error in the message. The maximum number of students is 200. This error message will be fixed in future versions of the program. If the user needs to accommodate more users, see below:

The best way for the instructor to handle 500 students is to create two additional student folders, using Windows Explorer, at the same level of the existing student folder. The default path for each folder is listed below (where X refers to the drive letter of installation location):

X:\Glencoe Language Arts\Revising with Style (MS)\Students

X:\Glencoe Language Arts\Revising with Style (MS)\Students_2

X:\Glencoe Language Arts\Revising with Style (MS)\Students_3

Or

X:\Glencoe Language Arts\Sentence Diagraming (MS)\Students

X:\Glencoe Language Arts\Sentence Diagraming (MS)\Students_2

X:\Glencoe Language Arts\Sentence Diagraming (MS)\Students_3

The "Students" folder can contain 200 student files, the "Students_2" folder can contain 200 student files, and the "Students_3 folder can contain 100 student files. When students create a new student record, they should be instructed to use the Data Path button on the New Student

registration screen to select the correct student folder. The next time they log in, students should use the Locate button on the Student Registration screen to locate the folder containing their student records.
