Insert disk #1
While in Program Manager, choose RUN from the FILE menu located at the top right of the screen.
Type a:\install c: and press ENTER to run the installation.
Follow the prompts on the screen to complete.

Windows 95/98/NT:

Insert disk #1
Click on START and choose RUN.
Type a:\install c: and press ENTER to run the installation.
Follow the prompts on the screen to complete.

MAC

Insert the disk into the disk drive
Double-click the disk icon.
Double-click on the Chapter Challenger icon. This will launch the installation.
Two icons will appear on the left side of the window, the Chapter Challenger install icon and an uninstall icon. On the right side of the window will be a list of disk icons showing the destination disk drives in which the Chapter Challenger program can be installed.
Single click on the Chapter Challenger INSTALL icon and drag the icon to one of the destination disk drive icons on the right.
Follow the prompts on the screen to complete installation.

ISSUES AND SOLUTIONS:

Issue: I am following the instructions in the user’s guide for installation for Windows, but the program will not install.

Solution: Line 3 of Install Chapter Challenger program on a hard drive should read as follows:

Type a:\install c:\ and press ENTER to run the installation program.

Issue: When I print a quiz an error message appears and closes the program (on copyrights before 2000)

Solution: This has been duplicated, but no solution has been determined. The quiz prints before the program closes. It does not happen all of the time. The program will usually print a question or one section. However, it usually crashes when a chapter quiz is printed.

Issue: Does this product run on Windows 2000, Windows NT and Windows ME?

Solution: This product was tested on Windows 2000, Windows NT 4.0, and Windows ME runs well on all.

Our customer base uses a wide variety of operating systems and applications and our software must be developed to be used on some lower end systems to meet our customer needs. Because of this, we cannot guarantee that our software will always work as expected as new operating systems and other applications are developed. We encourage you to give our products a 'test drive' on any new system you plan to implement.
